The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at Branches Arlington offers treatment for emotional, behavioral and/or substance abuse problems. Less intensive than partial hospitalization but it more intensive than traditional outpatient therapy, this program is designed to provide stabilization and resolution of immediate problem areas.
The family is involved in the treatment process, as we consider family participation to be a vital link in treatment and follow-up care.
Referring professionals are invited to collaborate with the patient and the treatment team. With the patient’s permission, these professionals are continually updated on the patient’s progress and the individual is referred back to the professional for continued follow-up care.
The Intensive Outpatient Program operates:
- Mental Health — Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Chemical Dependency — Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Additionally, Branches Arlington offers Second Chances, an adult outpatient program that focuses heavily on activities of daily life to help reduce repeat hospitalizations. The program typically lasts from 6 to 12 weeks.
